Fishing Derby |

| Over
150 young fisherman ages 15 and under fished from 9 am to 2
pm. Three age divisions received awards: ages 3-5,
6-10, and 11-15. Awards were given in each group for
largest fish, total weight, and for a casting contest.
The largest fish caught for the entire derby was a 19 pound
catfish reeled in by seven year old William Smith III. |

3 - 5 age division, Bo Harrison caught the largest
fish at 15 3/4 pounds and Leah Shumate finished second with a
catch of 11 3/4 pounds. Bo and Leah also finished first
and second in the total weight competition. In the
casting contest, Jedidiah Payton finished first and Cody Boyt
finished second. |

6 - 10 age division, William Smith III won the
largest fish competition with a catch of 19 pounds.
Hannah Massey finished second with a 16 3/4 pound catfish.
William and Hannah also finished first and second in total
weight competition. Jacob Keadle finished first and
Zachary Piper finished second in the casting contest. |

11 - 15 age division, Drew Fowler finished first
with a 14 pound catfish. Lauren Williams finished second,
catching a 1 1/4 pound bass. Drew and Lauren also
finished first and second in total weight competition.
