2009 AARP Tax
Assistance |
AARP provides tax preparers
to assist public with tax returns. Interested persons should bring all
related tax documents with them to
the Civic Center Room 3-4. Tax assistance is available each Friday from 9 am
to 1 pm, beginning Friday, February 6 through Friday, April 03.
Bring all documents showing earnings and interest.
First few sessions are usually well attended. Numbers will be given out to
the first twenty five to thirty in attendance each Friday. Then the
remainder will be asked to return next week. First come first served basis.
The building will be open at 8:00 AM but the tax preparers do not arrive
until 9:00 AM. |

The Civic Center serves as host for the Red Cross Bloodmobile.
The 2009 scheduled donation dates are:

The time for all dates is from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Disaster and
Emergency Shelter |
| The Civic Center
serves as a Disaster and Emergency shelter for the Red Cross and
The Emergency Management Agency. In times of disaster or need,
the Civic Center is a designated shelter. The Civic Center also
serves as a shelter when needed for Public Health crisis
situations. |
