2010 AARP Tax
Assistance |
| In years past the AARP has
provided assistance with Tax Preparation every Friday in February thru April
15th. As with most groups, funding has been cut and AARP will only be able
to provide TWO (2) days of tax assistance. FRIDAY,
MARCH 12, 2010 FROM 9:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2010 FROM 9:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
Individuals will need to bring all income statements/W2's
etc. with them when they come for help. The wait could be long since only
two days are offered for assistance compared to ten days in the past.

The Civic Center serves as host for the Red Cross Bloodmobile.
The
2010 Scheduled donation dates are:

The time for all dates is from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Disaster and
Emergency Shelter |
| The Civic Center
serves as a Disaster and Emergency shelter for the Red Cross and
The Emergency Management Agency. In times of disaster or need,
the Civic Center is a designated shelter. The Civic Center also
serves as a shelter when needed for Public Health crisis
situations. |
