Requirements

Registration for youth and adult sports programs take place at the Civic Center located on 101 Civic Center Drive, Thomaston, Georgia.

   
For youth registrations please bring the following:

Copy of birth certificate (if this is first year playing sport)

Proof of health insurance.  May purchase Recreation Insurance at an additional cost to registration fee.  All youngsters MUST be covered by health insurance before the youngster is eligible to practice or play.

Adult registering will be asked to select size of jersey for youngster.  Sizes range from Youth Small to Adult XXL.

Must pay the sports registration fee.  Charges vary from sport to sport.  Both cash and checks are accepted.  If a check is returned, the Recreation Department will charge a $25 return check fee.  Registration fees and returned check fee must then be paid in cash to register participant.

There is a $5.00 discount for the second and additional children to register per season in the same sport on the same registration date.  To be eligible, participants must live in the same household.

For All youth athletic programs, a $25.00 Late Fee per child, will be charged after last posted day of registration.

A $10.00 nonresident fee is charge to participants at time of registration who are not permanent residents of Upson County.  The fee applies per person, per sport, per season.
